Course Objectives
Workers who successfully complete this course will be able to identify the requirements of a qualified rigger and operator and the qualifications of each. The learner will also learn about the different types of cranes and other hoisting equipment and their functions, how to conduct inspections, how to rig, lift, and land a load, and occupational hazards in rigging operations and how to avoid them.
