Hot Work/Arc Welding for Oil and Gas
Hot work, such as arc welding, is crucial to oil and gas production but its dangers include eye burns, toxic fumes, noise and fires. This course should help employees identify hot work hazards and necessary controls for oil and gas sites.

Course Objective
This course is provided to assist the employer in meeting the requirements of OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.252, General Requirements and 254, Arc Welding and Cutting. In addition to this course, the employer might also provide courses on Compressed Gas Safety, Fire Safety and Portable Fire Extinguishers.
While this course addresses OSHA training requirements, there may be a site-specific training component required that must be fulfilled by an employer.
