Cold Stress in the Workplace Training - Canada

When the body's temperature falls below 98.6°F, blood vessels narrow, retaining warm blood around vital organs to shield them. Consequently, blood flow to the limbs decreases, heightening the risk of frostbite or hypothermia.

This training program is designed to educate employees on the dangers associated with working in cold climates and effective methods to mitigate such risks. Participants will learn to anticipate and recognize the symptoms of cold stress, as well as preventive measures.

This course covers training requirements under OHS Cold Stress regulations and/or the General Duty Clause of the OHS statute.
