Hands-On Training and OSHA HAZWOPER Certification
While you may have heard different, in order to be compliant with OSHA training requirements, a// 40-Hour HAZWOPER students must have hands-on training and an opportunity to don and doff equipment, respirators, SCBA's etc. While we include this important part of your training (at NO additional cost to you) our competitors don't even offer this integral part of the OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training.
After completing the online portion of the course, students should call our office the Monday of the week they wish to participate in the scheduled 8 Hour Hands-On class. We will register you for this part of your HAZWOPER course and complete your OSHA HAZWOPER training. Once completed, you will be required to complete an online examination and you will be mailed a Certification (suitable for framing) and a 40-Hour HAZWOPER Wallet Card for verification at DOD and Hazmat sites that require this Certification.
Instructor Support
OSHA requires online training courses to provide interaction with an Instructor and the opportunity for students to ask questions and receive help. Our competitors answer this requirement by providing an email address and a response within 48-hours. We don't think this is what OSHA had in mind! This course provides 8-hours of hands-on training and the opportunity to ask questions IN PERSON with an experienced Instructor. We also provide a stateof-the-art asynchronous communication system that allows students INSTANT contact with a QUALIFIED Instructor - most competitors have a tech-support person answer emails - plus a hotline monitored by QUALIFIED Instructors. Finally, we also offer email support to address questions that are not urgent.
