Reschedule/Substitution & Course Policies 

 

IL (INSTRUCTOR-LED) Training & VILT (VIRTUAL INSTRUCTOR-LED) Training Courses: 

In this fast-paced world we live in, we realize things change. In the event you are unable to attend a scheduled training course, we offer several options to change, substitute or cancel a scheduled training commitment: 

REFUND POLICY:

Compliance Solutions will issue a full refund of tuition if we cancel the course due to insufficient enrollment. In the event an order is placed for the wrong course, you must contact us within 24-hours of placing your order to be eligible for refund. After 24-Hours refunds will not be approved. 

  • Certificates of Completion will only be released when payment, in full, is received in our corporate office in Denver, CO. 
  • Overdue invoices will be assessed late fees equal to 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. 
  • Compliance Solutions does not assess state or local, taxes on training classes. If your jurisdiction imposes sales/use tax, the purchaser is responsible for payment of any tax due. 
  • Please allow 7-10 business days for all refunds. 

SUBSTITUTIONS: 

You may substitute another employee ANY time PRIOR TO the class start date at NO CHARGE! Please Note: Substituting an employee within 2 business days of the class start time will result in a $15.00 Re-Issue Fee. We don’t assess Re-Issue fees until the last minute (so please, call us as soon as you know) however with only 2 days left, the “wheels are already in motion”. This fee, payable by credit card, does not cover our costs but, it helps offset the administrative, postage and printing costs we incur to issue a Certificate of Completion & Wallet Card for the “NEW” student. 

RESCHEDULING TO A DIFFERENT DATE: 

Students may reschedule to any future class date if the request is made (in writing) at least21 days before the class start date.If you need to reschedule WITHIN 21 days there is a reschedule fee, based on the following sliding scale:  

To Submit a Reschedule Request: Send following information via email to: CustomerService@csregs.com 

  • Student name, company name, class date, location (city), course name (i.e 8-Hour HAZWOPER) and; 
  • New class date and location and; 
  • Completed Payment Authorization Form (download here) 

VIRTUAL & INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING RESCHEDULE FEES:  

CSOT requires all requests to reschedule be made in writing. We cannot accept verbal requests. Please submit the information above ASAP so your request is date/time stamped. Incomplete requests or requests without payment may delay the request and result in a higher fee being assessed. We are unable to process partially complete or verbal requests. Please verify you have submitted all required information, including payment (if applicable) to avoid delays. Your request will be time/date stamped ONLY when we have received all information.  

  • 21 days or MORE before the class start date:NO FEE 
  • 20 - 7 daysbeforeclass start date:25% of retail enrolment fee (before discount).  
  • 6 - 2 daysbefore theclass start date:50% of retail enrolment fee (before discount).  
  • Within48-hours of class start date/time:100%of the course fee (this includes "no-shows" late arrivals, or students not finishing the class). 

ILT/VILT TUITION AND CLASS CREDIT: CSOT does not issue refunds if a student decides to withdrawal prior to a class. If a student withdrawals and does not have a reschedule date, remaining tuition (if applicable) will be held as credit for another CSOT class/date. Any remaining tuition (if applicable) may only be transferred to another class (online, virtual or seminar).

Instructor-Led Course Policies and Information  

 
All open-enrollment (seminar) training courses are held based on sufficient enrollment. Compliance Solutions makes every effort to hold scheduled training courses, however, if enrollment is not sufficient, we may cancel the class at our sole discretion. No guarantee of any kind is made regarding a specific date or class. In the event we cancel a class, students will be given the option of transferring to the next available date, taking the course by alternate means (Internet or Virtual, if available) or receiving a full refund.  
 
Compliance Solutions assumes no liability for cancellation or rescheduling of a specific course or date. Ancillary expensesincluding, but not limited to:Airfare, travel expense, hotel, per-Diem, mileage, employee wages or salary, lost revenue etc. are the sole responsibility of the student/employer. Any liability or assumed liability to or by Compliance Solutions expressly waived. In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled, our liability is limited to the tuition paid. Compliance Solutions is not responsible for cancellations/delays due to weather, strikes or Acts of God, including pandemics. Prior to making travel reservations, we suggest you contact Customer Service at 800-711-2706 Ext.1 to confirm a class has sufficient enrollment. Any and all expenses incurred on behalf of the company or student are made at their sole discretion with full understanding the class may be canceled for any or no reason, by Compliance Solutions.  
 
We reserve the right to dismiss a student from class for behavior the Company or Instructor considers disruptive, inappropriate or dangerous to other members of the class, including failure to follow reasonable instructions or requirements. Compliance Solutions and our Instructors maintain the sole right to determine if student dismissal is warranted. Our policy is to politely ask a student (once) to correct their behavior. Failure to do so will result in the student being removed from class and asked (once) to leave the premises. The student's company/supervisor will be notified of any dismissals for cause. Students who fail to cooperate will be referred to local law enforcement. Students who are dismissed are not eligible for a refund or credit of tuition or a Certificate of Completion. The use of drugs or alcohol during class is cause for immediate dismissal.  

 

Finally, we understand the need for Students to be in contact with their company or office. To ensure equal benefit for all students, cell phones must be placed on "silent" during class (not "vibrate"). Use of cell phones, including texting, is strictly prohibited while a class is in session. Students will be provided ample breaks and as such, please be courteous and ensure youtake/make calls or text messages during a break or lunch. Failure to follow any of these policies are grounds for removal from the course.

E-LEARNING 

E-Learning (Online) Course Policies and Information  

Refund & Transfer requests will be approved under the following conditions: 

  • Student has completed less than one module or; 
  • Less than 10% of the total course time for single module courses 

If a transfer is approved, you may choose from another online course in our catalog. Requests that do not meet these conditions will be denied. 

Terms and Conditions: 

  • Online courses CANNOT be transferred to another student. 
  • With online course purchases customers have 1 year to assign the online seats purchased before they expire and are no longer usable.
  • Students are given 90 days (3 months) to complete all online courses. 
  • For the online 40-Hour course this includes completing the 32-hours of online training FIRST (all modules completed), THEN attending the 8-Hour in-person dress-out class and LAST completion of the online final exam.  
  • Orders placed under a “Corporate Account” or using a “Promotion” or “Discount Code” are NOT eligible for refund, cancellation, or transfer.  
  • If you transfer to a higher priced online course, payment of additional tuition must be made at the time the request is made. 

Online Course Extension Policy: 

  •  Students may request a one-time, 30-day extension for online courses provided the request is made BEFORE the online course expires. 
  • Students who have left the employment of a company, or who fail the course final exam are NOT eligible for credit, extension or transfer. 

Certification Courses: Students are given 3 attempts to successfully pass the course examination. If a student fails the exam 3 times, they must re-enroll and pay the full course tuition. Students must complete all course work and time requirements for the new course (we cannot transfer or provide credit of time from the initial course). We will not extend credit or discount the course tuition because a student failed the course previously. If a student fails a course twice, they are not eligible to re-enroll in the same course for six (6) calendar months.
