Respiratory Protection Oil and Gas
Oil and gas exploration and production often causes workers to encounter hazardous atmospheres. Hazardous chemical fumes, low oxygen environments, and even some types of dust particles can cause injury or illness to workers. If the atmosphere becomes hazardous to breathe, employees may require respiratory protection.
The course features examples and scenarios unique to the oil and gas industry. While this course addresses OSHA training requirements, there may be additional site-specific training components, hands-on training, and health testing required that must be fulfilled by an employer.
