SEMINAR RESCHEDULE AND SUBSTITUTION POLICY

 

Substitutions are gladly accepted at NO CHARGE, if you notify us before class start*

*Substitutions: Certification documents are prepared and sent before the class starts. Accordingly, if a Substitution is made within 48 hours of the class start time, the company/student will be charged a Certificate Replacement Fee of $10.00 + P & H per student

If you need to reschedule to a different date, your request must be submitted in writing (click here to begin). If you reschedule 21 days or more before the start date, there is NO FEE! All other Reschedule Requests are charged a fee based on the sliding scale below.

To Reschedule: Submit the following: Student name, company name, class name, start date, and the new class location & date you'd like to attend. 

Reschedule Fees must be paid in full when your request is submitted.

Reschedule Fees are based on the date/time payment for your Reschedule Request is received by Compliance Solutions.

**RESCHEDULE FEES:

  1. 21 days+ before class start date: NO FEE
  2. 7-20 days before start date: 25% of the retail tuition (before any multi-purchase discount).
  3. 2-6 days before class start date: 50% of retail tuition 
  4. <48 hours prior to class start time100% of retail tuition 

(Fee is also assessed for "no-shows", late arrivals, and students who do not complete a course)

Reschedule fees are assessed on the retail tuition. If your order included a multi-purchase discount, the discount may be removed (resulting in a higher reschedule fee) if the number of students remaining in the class is below the required level for the discount.

Company/Student Cancellations: All requests to cancel attendance (without rescheduling) will be assessed the corresponding Reschedule Fee. We do not issue refunds for cancellations. If any tuition remains after deducting the applicable fee (see above), it can only be applied to future registrations made by your company/organization. 

      REFUND REQUESTS:

      Compliance Solutions will issue a full refund if and only if we cancel the course for insufficient enrollment.

      It is the purchaser's responsibility to verify that they are purchasing the correct course. We do not issue refunds after 24 hours of placing your order. ALL requests to change class or move to a different date, or location, after 24 hours, incur a 25% Administrative Fee.

      • Certificates of Completion are only released when full payment is received.
      • Overdue invoices are assessed a late fee of 1.5% per month on any outstanding balance
      • Due to variations in tax structures, we do not assess city, state, or local sales or use tax. Purchasers are responsible for payment to their state/local authority
      • Allow 7-10 business days for processing any refund request.

      Guaranteed Classes:

      • Only 40-HOUR HAZWOPER Instructor-Led course registrations, in specific locations, qualify as "Guaranteed"
      • Registrations for Guaranteed classes must be received at least 14 days before the class start date.
      • Guaranteed Class registrations are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable
      • A separate confirmation indicating your registration for a Guaranteed Class will be sent after placing your order.
      • Reschedules to a different date, location (including no shows or incompletes) void the class Guarantee
      • If CSOT cancels a Guaranteed Class, we will issue a refund (and provide training at no cost to the company). The original student must complete the 40-Hour course they are rescheduled for to qualify for a refund. No shows, reschedules, and substituted students will VOID the Guarantee.
      • If CSOT cancels a Guaranteed class, registered 40-Hour Students are eligible to receive one tuition refund & one free training class per calendar year.

      Seminar/Course Policies and Information

      All open-enrollment (seminar) training courses are held based on sufficient enrollment. In the event enrollment is not sufficient to hold a class, we may cancel at our sole discretion. In the event we cancel a class, the company has the option of:  Transferring to the next available class, Taking the course by alternate means (Internet or Virtual, if available), or receiving a refund.

      Compliance Solutions assumes no liability for cancellation or rescheduling any course or course date. Ancillary expenses, including but not limited to: Airfare, travel expense, hotel, per diem, mileage, employee wages/salary, lost revenue, etc., are the sole responsibility of the employer. Liability, assumed or implied, to or by Compliance Solutions is expressly waived. Our liability is strictly limited to the tuition paid for that course. Compliance Solutions is not responsible for cancellations/delays due to weather, strikes, or Acts of God, including pandemics. Before making travel reservations, we suggest you contact Customer Service at 800-711-2706 Ext 1 to confirm your class has sufficient enrollment. Any expense incurred on behalf of the company/student is made at their sole discretion, with full understanding that the class may be canceled.

      We reserve the right to dismiss a student from class for behavior the Company or Instructor considers disruptive, inappropriate, or dangerous to other members of the class, including failure to follow reasonable instructions or requirements. Compliance Solutions and our Instructors maintain the sole right to determine if student dismissal is warranted. Our policy is to politely ask a student (once) to correct their behavior. Failure to do so will result in the student being removed from class and asked (once) to leave the premises. The student's company/supervisor will be notified of any dismissals for cause. Students who fail to cooperate will be referred to local law enforcement. Students who are dismissed are not eligible for a refund or credit of tuition or a Certificate of Completion. The use of drugs or alcohol during class is cause for immediate dismissal.

       

      Finally, we understand the need for Students to be in contact with their company or office. To ensure equal benefit for all students, cell phones must be placed on "silent" during class (not "vibrate"). Use of cell phones, including texting, is strictly prohibited while a class is in session. Students will be provided ample breaks, and as such, please be courteous and ensure you take/make calls or text messages during a break or lunch. Failure to follow any of these policies is grounds for removal from the course. Thank you for training with Compliance Solutions!
