Doug is both one of Compliance Solutions’ most seasoned instructors. A seasoned educator, Doug has developed and taught occupational safety and emergency management courses as an adjunct professor at UNLV, the College of Southern Nevada, and the OSHA Training Institute Education Center at CSU Dominguez Hills. He also served as Supervisory Field Chemist for DEA meth lab cleanups, chaired federal safety councils, and was named the 2005 Safety Professional of the Year by the American Society of Safety Engineers’ Environmental Practice Specialty.
One of Doug’s most meaningful experiences was serving as Safety Officer for EPA operations during Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Maria—ensuring responder safety in some of the nation’s most complex disaster zones. Now back with Compliance Solutions, Doug considers it an honor to share the depth of knowledge he’s gained over four decades. “As I enter the final chapter of my career,” he says, “it’s my privilege to give back to the professionals whose work demands the highest standards of safety and preparedness.”
