David Cervantes brings over 30 years of experience in safety, emergency response, and regulatory compliance. David has consistently delivered engaging, hands-on training that helps workers from all industries build confidence in their ability to work safely and respond effectively in critical situations.

David’s background spans both military and civilian sectors. His safety expertise includes HAZWOPER, construction safety, general industry protocols, and specialized work in aviation, manufacturing, and the oil and gas industries. A U.S. military veteran, David approaches each class with a sense of discipline, urgency, and purpose—while also making learning approachable and collaborative.

Known for his interactive teaching style, David creates an environment where students are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and practice the skills being taught. One of his most meaningful moments as an instructor came while watching his students successfully perform high-stakes training tasks in real time—a testament to the power of well-delivered instruction. “It’s one thing to teach from a book,” he says, “but seeing students apply what they’ve learned is the real reward.”

Although David is currently balancing his professional commitments with caring for a loved one in hospice, he remains committed to his mission of improving workplace safety. He is available for select weekend training sessions and continues to be a valued part of the Compliance Solutions instructor team.
