OSHA release their top 10 most citied standards for the 2020 fiscal year and big shock to everyone in the safety industry fall protection is on top again!

2020 OSHA Top 10 Most Citied Standards

  1. Fall Protection – General Requirements 5,424

OSHA 1926.501 - Covers the responsibility of an employer to provide fall protection systems to all employees working at height.

  1. Hazard Communication 3,199

OSHA 1910.1200 – Covers HAZCOM or the communication of hazardous materials from beginning to end user including training, labeling/marking and GHS.

As you can see the top ten still includes all of the same standard some switched positions Ladders moved from 6th to 5th, respiratory protection went from 5th to 3rd and lockout tagout fell from 4th to 6th.
