October 13 OSHA Holding Virtual Meeting on Whistleblower Protection

OSHA Whistleblower Protection Program

OSHA will be holding a virtual meeting next month on October 13 to improve the Whistleblower Protection Program. The meeting is open to the public and will be held online from 2 pm to 5 pm ET. and admission is free.

You can attend the meeting online using teams or through a telephone call. The meeting will be held in English with a Spanish translation also available. You must sign up by October 6th to attend.

OSHA is looking for input on:

• How OSHA can deliver better whistleblower customer service.
• What kind of assistance OSHA can provide to help explain the agency’s whistleblower laws to employees and employers.
• What OSHA can do to ensure that workers are protected from retaliation for raising concerns related to the pandemic.

You can submit any comments you have online using Regulations.gov. All comments must be submitted by the October 12th.
